Andrew Hollis – M.Sc. (Hons) – Earth Sciences – A retired Geologist. Saw the conflations, exaggerations, and outright falsehoods from 1990 when he first became interested in the climate. His degree included volcanology, astronomy and oceanography and allowed him to understand the complex interactions between infrared radiation and the natural environment. More importantly, Andrew is fully capable in reading, interpreting and assessing data directly from the enormous number of scientific papers presented each year. Sadly, these papers make the same fundamental assumptions and noone dares go against the mainstream narrative.
As the rhetoric has massively increased in New Zealand the data has not changed. A lack of catastrophe has inconveniently not matched the hysteria. He continues to plot graphs and investigate the claims of the increasingly shrill climate doomsday prophets and supported by a compliant, seemingly non-investigative, media.
Creating this summary for the lay person is important. This book is to make a permanent record of the main points as a foil to the ludicrous claims of the climate alarmists. It seems that the more the climate system refuses to collapse, the louder these people become, and the more governments change policy in an endless procession of the emperor’s new clothes.
Alan Trotter (LLB, NZ) is a retired NZ practicing Lawyer. His life-time interest in Geomorphology and Geology meant he unusually included Geology in his Law Degree. In 2019 he was invited by a NZ National Party Member of Parliament (Todd Muller) to make submissions to NZ Parliament’s Select Committee concerning “The Climate Change Response (Zero Carbon) Amendment Bill” [enacted, alas, in 2019]. His 22 years of Law Practice endorsed the need for integrity required, that he has maintained throughout the subsequent 4 x years to date of his investigations made into Science affecting Climate Change. In that time, he has also meet his co-authors (each having had years of independent research of science attendant to aspects of Climate Change, which aligned with his understandings).
His acquired understandings from his research have been importantly endorsed according to real science confirmed to him by leading academic intellects approached by him for that purpose. These academics, so readily and graciously responded to his requests made to them (who alas must remain un-named, for real reasons of “Cancel Culture” consequences). Together, these factors were the basis of him being able to describe in simple language in this book, the correct understandings of the scientific concepts involved (or not involved); but first and foremost preserving integrity (all too often found to be compromised, principally by ideology – by Politicians, Climate Alarmists, and their celebrity commentators enjoying blind widespread support form non-investigative Media publishing their opinions – invariably based upon quite incorrect Climate Change mantra).
This book is written for everyone to be able to feel secure by gaining an understand the actual “Gospel Truth” about the actual science as the best and most relevantly qualified academics understand it to be – and which thereby confirms the contention that a “hoax” of highly incorrect mantra has been produced and promoted (being a “hoax” of the same type as the “Y2K” computer “hoax” that was rampant at the turn of the Millennium; the “Ozone Hole” “error” about a lot of skin cancers being primarily (and wrongly) blamed by a difference of commercial opportunity opinion about the actual affects of many sun-tanning CFC sprays; indeed the Tulip bulb “scam” that caused widespread financial collapse of Tulip Bulb values in the Dutch Flower Markets in the 17th Century). “Integrity” is Alan’s sole concern!
Mike Sankey started his working career as a Policeman in Rhodesia in the BSA Police and saw the transition through to Zimbabwe. He fought in the Third Chimurenga War and at the end of the war, he left the Regiment and became a prospector for Anglo American Prospecting Services where he prospected for Base Metals in most of the Western, Eastern and Northern Transvaal.
In 1988, he qualified as a Quantity Surveyor from Natal University as the top student in his field of study for years 1 and 4 and went on to practice in a Professional Quantity Surveying as well as in a Contracting role. He is a Professional Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds a certificate in Arbitration amongst other certifications.
Following his interest, he qualified as a Professional Project Manager (PMP) and as a Construction Project Manager and he currently acts in both roles, providing a mix of project management and commercial experience.
Since then, in 2020, he completed a Diploma in Environmental Management, this led to further Diplomas in Geology, Palaeontology and Earth Science, all of which were passed with distinction in order to get to the bottom of the Global warming fantasy. Just recently he also obtained a Diploma in Cosmology. Mike is a practised presenter of lectures on Climate Change, being well able, with his relaxed delivery style, to make a somewhat complicated subject most entertaining to listen to.
